No-judgment support and care as you navigate pregnancy, birth, & postpartum
" As long as the baby is still in diapers and you're up in the night,
you're postpartum."
-Raven Lang, midwife
Thank you for being here.
My name is Emalyn.
I believe without a doubt that your are loved immeasurably and you matter.
If you are a new mother (whether you are nearing birth or have already birthed!), I am honored that you are here. You are in the right place. No matter what your birth story is or will be, you deserve nourishing support. I consider serving mothers during their pregnancy and postpartum journey a high privilege, as they are in the one of the most vulnerable times of their life.
As a Birth & Postpartum Doula & Lactation Specialist, I offer my clients professional and quality support in the days preceding and following birth, and up to one year postpartum.
My own pregnancy and postpartum journeys have been nothing short of challenging, incredibly joyful, sorrowful, magical, and even scary at times, but somehow each of these feelings and experiences harmoniously live together in the beautiful profession we call motherhood.
In a world where unbearable guilt and stress is placed on a mama to meet the demands and pressures of society, family, and friends, there is an even greater need for loving, nurturing, supportive, empathetic, and compassionate care, especially in the days after birth as a mother's body and mind heal.
My passion is to provide the mothers I serve with a warm and comfortable atmosphere, however that may look for them. My goal is to provide traditional, attentive, and nourishing support - the way it should always be.
What to expect when you hire me as your Doula
While this is an abbreviated preview of the services I offer, my primary goal is to support the new mother in whatever capacity she needs most at the time.

Physical + nutritional support
Breastfeeding + lactation support

"He will tend his flock like a shepherd;
he will gather the lambs in his arms;
he will carry them in his bosom,
and gently lead those that are with young."
